User with trust_level_2 can't post

Hi! A user granted trust_level_2 can’t post after updating Discourse on Monday, 4, 2024.

Is anybody else facing the same issue? Thanks!

Confirmed: I can post from Safari, brand new login.

Thanks! The situation is a bit messy. As far as I remember, you failed yesterday afternoon by using your laptop from outside USC, didn’t you? Now, you were able to reply using your desktop computer within USC, weren’t you? Thanks!

yes, but the fail was related with the access password (I typed the wrong one). It is solved, apparently

Well, I had a very long text, much longer than 20 chracters but it didn’t let me respond to the users’ comments. I am actually writing this to check if the problem is solved.

And it seems solved! The only change I can figure out related with authentication issues is that I check out force https:

I check it in to avoid a mixed content issue:

But it seems to affect other areas of functioning. Before replying to Problem Responding a Topic - #2 by Moin - support - Discourse Meta, we will try to reproduce this issue by checking in force https again. Abdullah, I will contact you on WhatsApp!
